Mission
Our mission is to continue Elizabeth's legacy of love, faith, and caring in the lives of children and their families in need. Elizabeth Toon Charities will primarily benefit organizations that support children with terminal and chronic illnesses, as well as those with physical disabilities.
Elizabeth toon
Elizabeth was blessed with a heart so full of love that it seemed to spill over in her eyes, her face, and her beautiful smile. Those who knew her recognized this to be the love of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Our goal is to love with Elizabeth's kind of love, one that makes a difference. When others are touched by this kind of love, they know it, remember it, and are forever changed by it. Elizabeth left a sweet fragrance on the lives she touched.
To honor her wonderful life, the Elizabeth Toon Foundation was established in 2007. Elizabeth was tragically killed on November 5, 2006, by a hit and run driver as she crossed a street in Hollywood, California.
Blaine's Black Buck

Elizabeth Toon Charities was proud to host Blaine Balliett and his father David to The Keystone Ranch for some south Texas exotic game hunting. Blaine is a patient of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for children in Dallas. Elizabeth Toon Charities first met Blaine at their second annual fundraising event in May of 2008 and Blaine has become a spokesperson and advocate of the foundation. “People have a purpose on this earth and maybe it was Elizabeth’s purpose to bring people together to do good for others”, said Blaine sitting in the deer blind waiting for an opportunity to harvest the trophy Black Buck Antelope seen in the photo. Blaine has a condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, a rare disorder that is present at birth (congenital), is characterized by reduced mobility of many joints of the body, the range of motion of the joints in the arms and legs (limbs) is limited or fixed, inward rotation of the shoulders, abnormal extension of the elbows, and bending of the wrists and fingers, the hips may be dislocated and the heels of the feet may be inwardly bent from the midline of the leg while the feet are inwardly bent at the ankle (clubfoot). Even with the disorder, Blaine successfully harvested his Black Buck at 100 yard using a customized 243 caliber rife that reduces recoil. This was Blaine’s second trophy of the season; he actually took a 9 point buck earlier in the year on a hunt sponsored by Texas Parks and Wildlife. Elizabeth Toon Charities would like to thank The Keystone Ranch www.keystone-ranch.com for sponsoring the hunt.
