2009 Scholarship Application Process

The scholarship application process is driven by the timing of the Office of Guidance and Counseling at Highland Park High School in coordination with the HP Education Foundation.  The approximate dates for this year’s selection process are as follows:

• The students will be given access to the on-line application by the end of February.  The students will have at least 4 weeks to complete the applications and submit them to the HPHS counseling office.

• The applications will be sorted by scholarship name and the appropriate essays will be attached.

• It will take approximately 5 days for the staff to sort the scholarships, attach the essays and include or delete the appropriate information.

• The applications go to the scholarship committees the first week in April.

• Final candidates are inteviewed the week of April 23 -27.

• The Awards Assembly is scheduled for the end of May, just prior to graduation.
